I grew up in Destin. My family has been on this water for five generations. My grandfather had a saying: when in Destin, fish with a Destin. He meant it. So do I.
I started running charters 21 years ago. What my family taught me, and what I've believed every trip since, is that this business comes down to two things: the fish your group catches and the experience they have on this boat. Get those right and everything else takes care of itself. For more than a decade I was consistently in the top 10 in the Destin fleet for hours fished, built on repeat clients and word of mouth.
This is a family-owned, owner-operated business. I'm on every trip. We're patient with kids, accommodating for large groups, and comfortable with any skill level — whether you've been fishing the Gulf your whole life or you've never touched a rod.
I stopped running three and four-hour trips a long time ago. That's not what Destin fishing is, and I didn't want that to be what I represented. When somebody comes here, I want to show them what this water actually does. We run a 55-foot Gillman built for serious offshore work, and I keep the boat dialed in because the experience matters start to finish — Starlink, mezzanine seating, air conditioning, a big back deck with room to fish, a crew that's focused on your group.
